Whether you want to explore stunning coastal towns or take in lush countryside views, a short break in Suffolk offers activities and places to stay to suit all tastes.

Which is why we’ve teamed up with leading accommodation specialist Host Unusual, and their partners Best of Suffolk, to offer a fabulous prize – a three-night stay in the East Anglian county, with two fabulous properties to choose from.

Take your pick from either the modern but luxurious Seed Store in Peasenhall, a converted building set in farmland, pictured above. Or opt for The Vintage House, an historic 1920s property in the pretty town of Aldeburgh.

The prize

The prize is a three-night stay for you and your guest(s) at either the Seed Store or The Vintage House. You’ll find a few blackout dates in the terms and conditions below.

To help you make up your mind here are some details about both properties, plus details about how to enter too.

The Seed Store (sleeps 2)

The Seed Store, just four miles away from the village of Framlingham, has been newly renovated using traditional materials including the original brick. Inside you’ll find natural oak flooring, a reclining armchair, cosy sofa and marble coffee tables, plus a hand-built kitchen.

You won’t even have to leave your king-sized bed to enjoy the views thanks to the cleverly designed duel-aspect bedroom. If that’s not relaxing enough there’s also a rolltop tub in the bathroom.

The Vintage House (sleeps up to 4)

You really do step back in time at The Vintage House in the charming seaside town of Aldeburgh.

This gorgeous stay features wooden floorboards, cosy rugs and lovingly restored furniture, originally bought for the home when it was built in 1928.

There are two bedrooms, one master and one with twin beds. And while the decor might be vintage, there are all the mod-cons you’d expect with central heating (in addition to the coal fires), Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
