On select evenings, the ancient Nabataean city of Petra becomes an even more breathtaking sight than it does during the day. The enchanting ‘Petra By Night’ experience begins with a walk through the Siq, where over 2,000 candles illuminate the narrow gorge leading to the Treasury (pictured).

Running nightly from Sunday to Thursday, the event also includes a dazzling light show projected onto the Treasury’s rock-hewn façade, bringing together modern technology and timeless stories from the World Heritage Site’s past. Tickets must be purchased in-person from the Petra Visitor Center.
