You could be forgiven for thinking this is a photo of a beautiful scene in Amsterdam. However, these particular narrowboats are actually floating along Regent's Canal, in London's Little Venice.

Similar to those in the Netherlands' capital, this nine-mile (14km) canal runs from Little Venice near Paddington, to Limehouse Basin, where it meets the River Thames. A wander along its towpath offers Londoners and tourists alike a little respite from the hustle and bustle of the capital's busy streets.
