Down in Georgia's capital of Atlanta, an elevated walkway, also on disused railroad tracks, will eventually boast 22 miles of stunning outdoor space. The BeltLine, which is due for total completion in 2030, will connect 45 neighborhoods with green spaces, artwork, restaurants, bars, and breweries and has already become a must-visit for tourists, with several trails and parks currently open.

Thankfully, it offers more space to roam than its New York counterpart.
