Iceland's capital Reykjavík is loved for its quaint wooden houses, unique museums, and world-class restaurants, but also for having one of the world's most striking churches. Hallgrímskirkja stands proud in the heart of the city with its distinctive stepped concrete façade reminiscent of the country's basalt column rock formations.

Despite all of the incredible natural sights in Iceland, Hallgrímskirkja remains one of the country's most visited tourist spots with thousands of people stepping inside this eye-catching church each year.
