The ‘Garden Isle’, Kauai – which makes up a county with the smaller islands of Niihau, Lehua, and Kaula – is so vividly, blazingly beautiful, it’s almost embarrassing. But it’s tough to turn your eyes away from its canyons and waterfalls, surrounded by dense rainforest. And it’s even harder not to stare at the spiky, velvety green mountains that back the creamy sand and teal waters of the Na Pali coast.

This isn't just the most beautiful county in Hawaii, it's the most beautiful place in the United States of America. Be sure to pop it on your bucket list.
