Our number one has it all. Centred around the jewel-like waters of the Wagonga Inlet on NSW’s far south coast, Narooma offers long, deserted surf beaches, peaceful mirrored inlets and a breakwater where seals frolic in the aquamarine water or sun themselves on rocks.

Narooma is also a haven for extraordinary seafood, enjoyed in world-class cafés and restaurants or bought fresh from the local fish co-ops. The town’s iconic oyster festival, held the first weekend of May, sits high on every local foodie’s bucket list.
