Ranked the 12th best beach in North America and 42nd best globally in The World’s 50 Best Beaches list for 2025, Siesta beach is also our number one. With its dazzlingly white, sugar fine sand made up of 99% pure quartz from the Appalachian Mountains, the beach is uniquely beautiful.

It’s also wonderfully unpretentious and blessed with calm Gulf waters that are perfect for snorkeling and paddle boarding. The presence of lifeguards makes it safe for young swimmers too.
