Nor is the ‘House of Mouse’ resting on its laurels. On May 7, 2025, the company announced its latest theme park, Disneyland Abu Dhabi, to be built on Yas Island. The resort will be Disney’s seventh global theme park resort and the first in the Middle East. Disney CEO Bob Iger says it will be “authentically Disney and distinctly Emirati,” something clearly seen in artist renditions of the future park (pictured).
