Designed by Italian architect Michele De Lucchi, this modern glass-and-steel pedestrian bridge spanning the Mtkvari River smartens up the Georgian capital like an eccentric bow tie.

Opened in 2010, it connects Old Tbilisi with the newly developed Rike Park, offering stunning views of Narikala Fortress and the Metekhi Church. The bridge heralds Tbilisi’s transformation into a modern, cosmopolitan city.
