Rakotzbrucke, in eastern Germany's Kromlauer Park, is one of several bridges in Europe to earn the moniker "the Devil's Bridge." The legend goes that the bridge, reflecting in the still water below, is too perfect to have been made by human hands. It's said that Satan had a hand in its construction, claiming the soul of the first mortal to cross the structure in return.

You can't cross the bridge today, but you can admire the devil's handiwork from afar.
