When he wasn't delivering killer one-liners, the comic Bob Hope liked to kick back by playing golf. So in 1952, when he wanted to hang out with his friend Bing Crosby, they signed up for a charity match at the Sunningdale Golf Club in Berkshire, which remains a quintessential English golf club today.
