Set on the grounds of an active 37,000-acre cattle ranch and known as a wilderness sanctuary, The Resort at Paws Up gains our number one spot. Guests can pick between two accommodation options – a luxury tent complete with an ensuite and wooden floors or one of the comfortable private homes.

You can explore the rolling hills of Blackfoot Valley, with more than a hundred miles of trails, on foot and on horseback or go rafting on Blackfoot River. Rates and minimum stay vary throughout the year – a two-night stay in October for two people is $2,949 per night.
