Tucked away in the Alps, Garmisch Partenkirchen is one of Germany’s best ski resorts. Home to glacial lakes, gorges and diverse mountain landscapes, the resort is a dreamy place to visit when the snow has melted. And with its epic waterfalls and rapid basins, the Partnach Gorge is one of the region’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Visitors can take a scenic hike to see the gorge up close.
