The legend of Bram Stoker's famous vampire, Dracula, is what makes this castle oh-so-creepy. While there's no concrete evidence that Stoker ever even visited Romania, let alone set foot in this eerie fortress, much of the description matches up and the two remain intrinsically connected.

Visitors can tour the haunting castle and see macabre sights like medieval torture devices, while there are special tickets for Halloween time too.
