At the historic Garrison in Bridgetown, Barbados, you can witness a traditional British-style changing of the guard – with island flair. Unlike the sombre displays seen at Buckingham Palace in London, England, this version has a relaxed, tropical atmosphere. The ceremony takes place outside the Main Guard House accompanied by calypso or steelpan music, adding a uniquely Bajan touch to the tradition.
