Wyoming is known as The Cowboy State and features a bucking bronco as its symbol, so it should come as no surprise that the focus of the Wyoming State Fair & Rodeo in Douglas is very much fixated on the rodeo.

The Ranch Rodeo finals on the opening night are the hot ticket event, with locals and visitors clamoring to watch Wyoming ranch cowboys and cowgirls compete in a series of grueling events. Country music runs the rodeo a close second, with big name stars headlining each night.
