October in Napa Valley buzzes with the fervour of grape harvest season, and vineyards bustle with activity. Throughout October, wineries open their doors wider, offering glimpses into the harvest process. Some even allow guests to get more hands-on, from picking and stomping grapes to tasting the fresh 2023 vintages straight from the tank. Mark your calendar for the Crush Party at Bouchaine Vineyards on 1 October, where guests can stomp grapes to their heart's content.
