In late 2025 the remains of a valley temple linked to the sun cult of the king Ni Osar Ra were discovered at the Abusir archaeological site. Over half the temple had been discovered in previous excavations, and it's one of the largest and most prominent temples of the valley in Jabanah Menf.

The most recent excavations also unearthed a huge stone threshold engraved with hieroglyphic texts that included a calendar of religious ceremonies for the temple, as well as mentioning the name of Ni Osar Ra.
